Hail to the chief

A sample of what's in store for the people of Ukraine, so recently liberated from Russian rule. On the 70th anniversary of the Yalta conference that split Europe between a free West and a Russian-occupied East, the Putin government unveiled this statue in Crimea, the Ukrainian province invaded and annexed a year ago. It shows Iosif Stalin as the great leader of the Allies, with Winston Churchill and Franklin Roosevelt watching him with admiration and perhaps a bit of fear.
