On defending Iraq

Let's see how this works out:

First, Mr. Obama withdraws all American military personnel and hardware from Iraq. Second, Sunni "militants" overrun a good chunk of the country. Third, Iran and Syria send troops, aircraft, and drones into Iraq to defend what's left to the Baghdad regime.

So what we built at great cost has been turned over to the mullahs in Tehran, the bloody dictator in Damascus, and the ragheads of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.

Is that really what Mr. Obama had in mind?
