You think?

The danger for the world is that the United States, after a decade of war; rightly concerned about issues back home; and aware of the hostility that our engagement in the region has engendered throughout the Muslim World, may disengage, creating a vacuum of leadership that no other nation is ready to fill.
So spoke Barack Obama at the United Nations yesterday, on the occasion when his hoped-for handshake with the "president" of Iran was rebuffed. Perhaps Tehran knows something that Washington doesn't: the president of the United States has been disengaging from the world since his inauguration in 2009.

What a long way we have come from another young and inexperienced president :
Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.
