The power of a mention

A week or so ago I had a nice chat with a New York Times reporting who was writing about the discovery of bits & pieces of a Brewster Buffalo pilot at Midway, scene of a great battle in 1942 that among other things sealed the reputation of that roly-poly aircraft as one of the worst to see combat in the Second World War. Here's the article, which was published the day before yesterday: http://www.nytimes.com/2013/01/02/us/02fighter.html?_r=0 In the course of the story, there's mention of The Sorry Saga of the Brewster Buffalo, which I published a while ago as an e-book for Amazon's Kindle. (Also available for the Nook and Kobo readers.) Wow. It sold sixteen copies yesterday. Blue skies! -- Dan Ford
