A Death in the Forest - the saga continues

Last month I uploaded War Comes to Potocki Street as an e-book for Amazon's Kindle reader. It told about the onset of the Second World War in September 1939, as it affected an affluent Polish child in Lwow in eastern Poland--and how it affected a barefoot boy on a dirt road in New Hampshire.

A Death in the Forest continues the story: the Russians annex eastern Poland, pack Lwow's defenders off to prison camp in the Soviet Union, and in April 1940 shoot more than 21,000 of them in the first great atrocity of the War. The book is available at Amazon stores in United States, Britain, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy. For the month of April, the price is 99 cents at the U.S. store, somewhat higher elsewhere. Blue skies! -- Dan Ford
