'those who cure you will kill you'

The Times of London is the first news medium to my knowledge to actually admit that the doctors arrested for plotting terror bombings in London and Glasgow are (surprise!) Muslims. What's more, 'An al-Qaeda leader in Iraq boasted before last week's failed bombings in London and Glasgow that his group was planning to attack British targets and that "those who cure you will kill you," The Times has learnt'.

The Associated Press meanwhile shuns all mention of religion, and like No Pattern Emerging Katie Couric can only describe the perps as 'diverse'. Yes, diverse indeed--all male, all Muslims, all in their twenties, all physicians employed by the National Health Service.

(Okay, okay, evidently I was apparently wrong about one thing: the eighth person arrested was female and merely a medical assistant and wife of one of the Alleged Nutters, so therefore neither male nor a physician. But as I said, No Pattern Emerging Katie Couric does have a tendency to mumble. I understood her to say that the woman had already been released.)
