Back to 1934

You may not remember the days when the birds roosted on the telephone wires (Pete Seeger has a song about it), but Tom Wheeler does, and he's feeling nostalgic for those copper wires. Mr Wheeler is the chairman of the FCC, and he is presently circulating a proposal to regulate the internet under the provisions of the Depression-era Communications Act of 1933.

That should work out well.
