Edward Snowden is shocked -- shocked! -- to discover that his host, Vladimir Putin, is cracking down on press freedom. That's "deeply unfair," he told NBC News in an interview broadcast last night.

It's a pity that the United States has laws against treason. Otherwise it might be a good place to live.
