Ted Post, 1918-2013

Ted Post gave me one of the great evenings of my life, when I first viewed Go Tell the Spartans -- the film version of Incident at Muc Wa -- at the Franklin Theater in Durham, New Hampshire. I'd waited thirteen years for the project actually to fly. In its obituary, the New York Times noted that in addition to television and film hits, he "made a low-budget film about the Vietnam War that was widely ignored when it was released in 1978 but is now regarded by many critics as one of the best in its genre."
