Uh-oh, Wolfeboro!

I lived in Wolfeboro when I was in high school, and my mother continued to live there while we boys were in college, so I came to think of it as my home town. It was a popular summer resort even  then, though nothing like what it is today--sort of a flat-land Aspen. Now the NYT reveals to me and to the world that it's a potential Summer White House, thereby congesting the streets and crowding the sidewalks.

I wonder why this is front-page news? Perhaps the Gray Lady hopes to swing privacy-loving residents into the Obama column. Blue skies! -- Dan Ford
