Congratulations to the US Navy SEALs

-- and likewise to Captain Richard Phillips (right), who four days ago gave himself up to a dangerous captivity so his men would have a chance to reclaim their ship. I suspect I'm not the only American to be pleased as well that three of the pirates are dead. (The fourth, I suppose, will now claim asylum because he might be persecuted in Somalia.)
