Some time in 1992 or 1992, the late Colonel John Boyd gave a presentation at the Air War College at Maxwell AFB. Some unheralded genius videotaped the question-and-answer period following, and snippets have gravitated of course to YouTube. I especially enjoy this one, where he likens fighter pilots to '19th century capitalists in the sky ... freebooters ... buccaneers'!
